Nine #LadiesWhoLead in the Salesforce Ecosystem

September 20, 2018

At this year’s Dreamforce conference, Bluewolf’s Women Innovators Network (WIN) will be hosting its annual honoree reception to recognize four leading change agents who are committed to furthering diversity and inclusion within their organizations and industries. 2018 has been a landmark year for raising awareness around gender equality in the tech industry, with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff publicly sharing his company’s own internal audit and subsequent policy changes and pay gap corrections, and IBM CMO Michelle Peluso hosting her Power for Progress event at IBM Think, where she presented her vision for gender parity in the workplace–“Now, it’s about creating a recruiting, onboarding, promotion and retention culture of inclusion. It’s about signing up for real progress and holding oneself accountable.”

More and more, women are making their voices heard in the ongoing conversation about the need for more women leadership in tech. The percentage of US businesses with at least one woman in senior management jumped from 69% in 2017 to 81% in 2018, but the percentage of senior roles held by women decreased from 23% to 21%.*

In the lead-up to Dreamforce, we’re sharing 9 #LadiesWhoLead in the Salesforce Community.
