Neff Rental Turns to Bluewolf for Custom Salesforce CRM Application
Customized Solution Boosts Neff Rental’s Sales Call Volume by 10%
MIAMI and NEW YORK CITY, July 14, 2008 - When Neff Rental, a leading provider of rental construction equipment, needed to streamline its sales process to give its field reps an edge over the competition, the company knew just where to turn. Neff Rental selected Bluewolf (www.bluewolf.com), a leading CRM consulting firm, to extend its Salesforce CRM application by leveraging the Force.com platform, enabling its sales reps to access tailored customer information on a single screen whether at a customer's site or in the field.
Neff Rental Inc, ranked as one of the nation's ten largest equipment rental companies, rents equipment for earth moving, material handling, compaction, trenching, aerial, electric and concrete, with John Deere, Case, Ingersoll-Rand, Komatsu, Kobelco, JCB, JLG, Lull and other name-brand equipment and tools.
With tens of thousands of customers and more than 1000 employees nationwide, Neff Rental's salespeople faced a logistical nightmare assessing critical data while trying to close a deal at a client's office. Having immediate access to vital information, customer data and daily task prioritization could mean the difference between a successful sale and a lost opportunity. Bluewolf worked with Neff Rental to customize their Salesforce CRM application with a new user interface, called a Planner Tab, to improve usability and integration of new "sales" screen designs with its database.
"Bluewolf has helped our total sales call volume increase over 10% by customizing the sales screen on our Salesforce CRM application with a new Planner tab," said Steve Settelmayer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Neff Corporation. "This improvement in call volume is the equivalent of adding 15 more sales representatives, without incurring the expense."
With the new customized solution by Bluewolf, the Neff Rental salespeople are now able to easily reschedule, reassign and consolidate tasks across different job sites. This increased flexibility makes all the difference and it shows in the numbers.
"This development work by Bluewolf for Neff Rental showcases the power and capability of Force.com for quickly and easily customizing Salesforce CRM for special use cases," said Clarence So, Chief Marketing Officer, salesforce.com.
"We used the Force.com platform to customize Salesforce CRM for the specific requirements of Neff Rental's salespeople," said Len Couture, Managing Director, CIO Practice for Bluewolf, which has helped more than 1000 customers leverage salesforce.com's SaaS CRM applications and Force.com platform. "The Force.com platform gives us the application development power we need, entirely as a service on the Internet, so we don't have to manage and maintain any software infrastructure."
