TRANSPORTATION

FLIGHTS

Flights will be booked for you into Vancouver, Canada. Make sure your passport is up-to-date and you know where it is If you don't have one, make sure to give yourself time for it to arrive.

  • The flight request form is now closed. If you have not requested your flight to OSW, you are ineligible to attend.
  • If you want to change your flight after it has been booked you will be responsible for the change fee.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Transport will be provided for you to the airport and the hotel in Canada. Confirmation will be emailed to you prior to departure.

  • If you are staying at an alternate property before or after the event, you will be responsible for booking your own transportation. This is not expensable.
  • You need to book your own transportation to the airport and back at home. Up to $75 TOTAL is reimbursable for your transportation to and from the airport.

LODGING

Bluewolf is covering your hotel room Tuesday the 12th to Friday the 15th.

  • If you would like to stay additional nights at your own expense, the group rate is $189/night.

  • Join the Fairmont Presidents Club to get free internet onsite. Click here to enroll. Internet will not be expensable if you do not join Presidents Club prior to arriving in Whistler.

AGENDA

The OSW agenda will incorporate a mix of fun and educational activities. A full agenda will be forthcoming.

For those interested in submitting a speaking session outline to Megan, make sure to download the guidelines and samples from the Chatter page when they are available and submit by January 15th. Session submissions are now closed as well.

ATTIRE

Attire is casual for the sessions. Jeans okay.

Apres Ski Party - Session attire is fine, but feel free to dress it up with fun alpine sweaters, ski-related attire, etc.

Russian Party - Get inspired! Think Russian club meets ice bar. Fur, fun hats, whatever you think!

Don't forget to pack your coat, scarves, gloves, boots, and sunglasses as we will be there during peak ski season.

THINGS TO DO

Whistler Blackcomb was named the #1 ski resort in North America, so skiers and snowboarders, you are in for a treat with ski in/ski out facilities!

Don’t ski or snowboard? No problem! Other activities:

  • Spa, steam rooms, heated pools and jacuzzis
  • Dog sledding
  • Snow shoeing
  • Snowmobiling
  • Zip lining (yup, you can do that in the snow!)
  • Ice skating
  • Sleigh rides
  • Touring the Olympic venues

Still sound too adventurous? The Whistler village is chock full of shops, restaurants and pubs for you to grab a hot drink and relax in.
