The New Consultancy

Quite literally at the peak of the dot-com bust, Bluewolf was born. Despite economic turbulence in the tech sector, the necessity for Bluewolf could no longer be ignored. As senior executives in large software companies throughout the ’90s, our founders witnessed traditional software companies getting fat and happy off the backs of their clients by implementing huge, expensive, under-engineered solutions.

We knew things could be done better, and we took a risk starting Bluewolf in stark opposition to the way things were done. However, we were confident that clients would reach a tipping point and demand change, after which software implementation, deployment and maintenance would be forever altered.

In place of an elephant, we offered a Wolf.

Applying already proven methods for Agile software development to a broad project management framework, Bluewolf invented Agile Consulting. It is a tribute to our vision that technologies bubbling up just then made Agile Consulting more practical, revealing even greater possibilities as each new technology was rolled out.
