Editorial and Community Coordinator

As part of the Bluewolf Marketing team, you will be responsible for curating and creating editorial content, managing the editorial calendar and engaging on a daily basis with the Bluewolf site communities

Candidates must have highly-developed editorial judgement, a passion for quality content and the ability to strategically identify social media networks to integrate into the organizational communications and social media prizm. Our ideal candidate is someone who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture and who can help guide and refine our strategies and execute independently.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple sites and social network channels
Help define and execute on the editorial vision
Curate content for publication
Light editing and "cleaning-up" submitted posts
Comment moderation
Corresponding with site bloggers and members
Promote sites via Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Plancast, etc.
New blogger recruitment
Align content to publishing goals and one-time initiatives
Serve as the company's knowledge base regarding the online competitive landscape for content areas

Skills
Strong editorial sense
Excellent writing/editing skills
Engaging
Customer-service oriented
Facility with basic desktop apps like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Comfortable with CSS/HTML a plus!
 

Must have qualifications
Journalism background or related degree with focus in digital and emerging media
Team Player - ability to build rapport and support team members
Experience with curating and curating content for business media and blogs
Experience with IT marketing required with experience in service marketing a plus
Demonstrated track record of success and a minimum of 3 years progressively.
Excellent written and communication skills. This position will need to coordinate and help produce key content for our communities and blogs.
Clear understanding of ROI analysis and proven analytical ability to track multiple campaigns, analyze results, and recommend changes. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the data.
Demonstrated strong project management and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously for seamless execution. Possess strong time management and organizational skills to coordinate and track the details of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring results are delivered on time.

No relocation – candidate must already live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
